My veil was everything I had imagined and so much more! Anne-Marie made the perfect design to incorporate so many things that are special to me and my husband. She gave me updates throughout the process and even steamed my veil for me ready for the day. I can’t recommend getting your veil from Anne-Marie enough. I will treasure mine forever and hope to pass it on to our future children one day!

Anne-Marie made the most beautiful veil for my wedding. I first spoke to Anne-Marie a couple of months before my wedding giving her a rough idea of what I was looking for. From the very first conversation I knew I was in safe hands. She took my ideas, and created the most beautiful veil. Throughout the process she sent sample tulle, photos and embroidery. The veil added something extra to the day and I could not have been happier with it. I have since framed the bespoke embroidery which makes for a fun art piece.

I always had a dream of creating a bespoke heirloom for my daughter Xanthe. Every night before we go to bed, we say “forever and always”. These words are special to our family and are timeless. I asked for these to be embroidered along with our wedding date and initials. I dreamt of my veil being passed down through the generations and everyone adding little details of their wedding date and initials each time. I highly recommend Bespoke veils. Anne-Marie was very thorough (much needed with a bride’s brain that can be all over the place), timely (in a week’s time we had numerous meetings and face to face calls to make sure she captures my idea 100%). She answers queries very quickly and manages expectations well. Her overall way of approaching things is “relaxed” – I.e. the opposite of the anxiety that is sometimes associated with the wedding industry. You can ask her any question! When I was planning my wedding, I wanted it to be as personalised as possible to us both. I personalised each detail I could, but if I'm completely honest, personalising my veil wasn't the first thing that came to mind! When I first started working with Anne-Marie I thought I wanted something short, something simple, with perhaps just a personalised monogram. It was only when Anne-Marie pulled out the colourful veil sample she had created that I knew simple and short just would not cut it! We worked together to create a design that fit both myself and Ben perfectly. It included an off-centre monogram, a West Ham flower (Ben's team), a song lyric from when we first met and a little bird- a dedication to our pet canary Clive. Anne-Marie helped me see how much fun I could have with the veil, and make it completely my own. It definitely got lots of oohs and aahs as I walked down the aisle! Couldn't recommend working with Anne-Marie enough, none of my ideas were too mad, none too difficult, and so I've got her to thank for making me feel so unique on the day.

It was beyond a pleasure to work with Anne-Marie for our wedding last year, who's level of care and attention to detail made me feel incredibly confident in the process. I ordered a bridal bow from Anne-Marie and had a wonderful experience. She was communicative and always kept me up to date. I reached out to her because her artistry was obvious, but I really appreciated that she was willing to talk things through and share multiple options throughout the process. Of course, you want your wedding to be perfect and to look great on the day, but I hesitated to be “bothersome”. Anne-Marie never seemed to mind my questions or suggestions and actually seemed to genuinely welcome them. I got the sense she wanted the product to be something I thought was perfect, instead of producing just a nice thing that anyone could call perfect. I felt like she took a lot of care with me and with the product throughout and I was really happy with the end result!

I cannot thank Anne-Marie enough for my precious veil. The design I wanted was very sentimental to me but I struggled to find someone who would do it within my budget. Anne-Marie simply couldn't have been more accommodating, and I really appreciated the amount of contact we had with one another. From message updates, to samples, to added suggestions. She really did care about making sure the veil was exactly as I envisaged. In the end, it was even better. It's an item that I will cherish forever and look forward to one day handing down to future generations.

Anne-Marie worked with me to create my bespoke veil for my wedding in June. I shopped around a little bit, speaking to three or four studios before choosing Anne-Marie, because I felt that she completely understood the vision I had for the veil.

Anne-Marie created a cathedral length, Spanish-style veil embroidered with arrangements of my favourite flowers. We kept in regular contact through the design process, and Anne-Marie sent sketches and sample tulle and embroidery to demonstrate what it would look like. She worked with what I liked, changing out colours, designs and flowers depending on my feedback.

The veil itself was magical. I took it to all of my dress fittings where the studio assistants absolutely loved it. On the day itself it was a complete showstopper. Everyone mentioned it, and the photographer completely rearranged the dressing room to get a full photo of it. I’m sorry that I can only wear it once, as it’s genuinely the most beautiful thing I have ever owned.

Truly, Anne-Marie's custom veil was the crowning glory of my wedding day! The piece was of such high quality, delicately embroidered with an array of hand-selected colours to illustrate the floral and fauna of my home in the countryside. I was involved in all decisions along the way, guided by Anne-Marie’s warm wisdom and keen eye. That attention and communication through-out the process (abundantly even from quite a distance!) made the piece feel like it realised the very essence of that sweet anticipation in the weeks building up to a wedding day.

I approached her for a design fairly late in my process (I think perhaps only three weeks left to the ceremony!) due to the pandemic and date changes. We video called and the work was swift and yet maintained the high craftsmanship you can observe in the whole portfolio. I received it beautifully wrapped in a bespoke box that was so special I kept all my accessories for the day in there too!

Overall I can't recommend Anne-Marie enough, especially in these challenging times. A veil from Anne-Marie is spun of your personality and hopes & dreams for married life. Absolutely unique heirloom art. But it's the service and compassionate professionalism which really makes the creative journey as memorable as the final garment.

One of the best decisions I made relating to my wedding (aside saying "Yes" to the proposal) was commissioning Anne-Marie to create me a custom veil. Anne-Marie involved me throughout, staying calm when I changed my mind on the design or was indecisive on colours etc. I was able to approve the design in principle, and was sent samples of the embroidery threads to allow me to try them next to my dress to ensure the design worked for me. Living local to Anne-Marie, also meant I was able to invite her to see my dress and we could "tweak" the designs further resulting in her creating me a veil which surpassed my wildest dreams. I had so many compliments on the veil during the wedding, and even after when people view the photos. I first met Anne-Marie at a wedding fair and we had a brief conversation about different types of veils. I had no idea there were so many options of style and material. I asked Anne-Marie if she could come and visit me and see my dress and help me choose a veil. My wedding had a very strong Scottish theme throughout it and she recommended embroidery on the veil as an option at which point I went for a combination of thistles and white roses for England and Scotland. When planning my wedding it didn't really occur to me to invest in a veil however it is now one of my favourite keepsakes from my wedding as it is so beautiful and so personal and was a key part of my beautiful photos as it was a feature with the embroidery. I can not recommend her services highly enough and I am very happy to have found her.

I am so pleased with my veil. Anne-Marie helped me achieve a design that was personal to us, including a paw design in it for my cat, to adding in colour to highlight the pattern. Anne-Marie created the most beautiful veil for me, it was completely bespoke and individual with shamrocks, English roses, Maltese traditional flower and a gorgeous Maltese Cross centralised on the blusher. Anne-Marie listened to all of my requests, sent me her designs to proof, had absolutely no trouble with the tiny amendments I asked her to make. Absolutely nothing was a problem for her and she listened to all my wishes and created a future heirloom to be cherished forever. After the veil was made I asked Anne-Marie to create some bespoke handkerchiefs for my mum, dad and groom and again they were perfect and matched the pattern on my veil exactly. I loved every aspect of the process of choosing my veil. I met Anne-Marie at a wedding fair and soon became very excited at the prospect of designing my veil. I had an initial consultation to discuss all my thoughts. Anne-Marie was so welcoming, so thoughtful and able to ask intelligent questions which brought my veil to life. Following that, pictures were sent to me at every stage so I knew exactly what was happening. Anne-Marie was open to discussion at every stage and the day I went to get my veil was magical. I'd dreamt since being a little girl about my veil and it absolutely met and exceeded my expectations. It was extra special as it depicted the story of my romance and marriage.
